a cheap diamond tester for checking the diamonds you have found are real

Diamond testers are devices used to determine whether a gemstone is a genuine diamond or a different material that may look similar, like cubic zirconia or moissanite. While professional grade diamond testers can be expensive, there are more affordable options available that use different methods to detect the authenticity of diamonds:

Heat Conductivity Testers: These testers use a probe that heats up and is touched to the stone. Diamonds disperse heat quickly, so if the stone is a diamond, the probe's reading will drop rapidly. However, this method isn't always foolproof and might not be as accurate as other methods.

Electrical Conductivity Testers: Diamonds conduct electricity differently than other stones. Some inexpensive testers measure this conductivity by passing a small electrical current through the stone. If the stone conducts electricity like a diamond, it's likely to be one.

UV Light Testers: Diamonds often exhibit blue fluorescence under UV light. Some inexpensive testers use UV light to check for this fluorescence. While it doesn't conclusively confirm a diamond, it can indicate its possibility.

Magnetic Testers: Diamonds are not magnetic, so some testers check for magnetic properties in a stone. If the stone is attracted to a magnet, it's not a diamond.

Remember, these affordable testers may not be as accurate as more expensive ones, and they might give false positives or negatives. For a higher level of certainty, professional appraisal or a gemologist's examination is recommended, especially when dealing with valuable stones.
Easy to use just set the dial to diamond size and ambiant temperature and watch the light go to RED if your lucky or nowadays the just are all CZ diamonds
