Ctx3030 metal detecting on the beach today, not too many finds but one Old Foreign Coin and a few spendable coins, i think im going to have to head back to base camp to regroup, the beaches just arnt proving productive at the minute, way to much sand, either i go on my travels to other beaches or, just keep digging away and finding nothing, and i know you dont like watching nothing been found, neither do i..
but hey i think i may have the Equinox from minelab for a few hours to test on the beach so all maybe good..

The same question to me keeps getting asked, about which sandscoop i use, what handle or shaft i use, what is it covered with, what are they made of, here is a video of all 3 of the best sand scoops i currently use metal detecting on the beach, From T-rex, Evolution, and a cheap one,
in this video i show which sandscoops i find to be the best, and where i use them.

New metal detector
Back on the beaches of Lincolnshire with the CTX3030 and to say what a jumbled up beach today, Sand had moved in a very small area, old finds new finds all jumbled together, just didnt really have a clue as to what to expect next, lots of old coins, plenty of new coins and a really nice quite rare Death Pendant, and somebody else also found the same one this weekend in a different part of the country, how strange was that. North England digging on the tough beaches that are reluctant to give up the Treasures, but the Ctx3030  still manages to winkle out an old toy from around WW2, some coins and the remains of what at one time was somebodys precious belonging

industrial Revolution
Spur of the moment trip to a vintage seam rally, lots of Steam engines that did various jobs in the early day of i guess the industrial revolution, from pumping water to shredding stuff and making flour, also some of the really big steam engines that probably were used for really heavy industrial work, like some of the ones featured in how Britain worked by guy martin. there are also some mini ride on steam traction engine that are more for fun than industrial work, some classic cars and fire engines all ranging from the 1940's to the 1980s
