The Coiltek Nox 15" coil
is a super coil, design carried over from the Coiltek WOT coils for the Older Minelab Metal Detectors.
Weight wise this Coiltek Nox 15 inch Coil comes in at around 840g, so not a big step up in weight compared to the Coiltek 14x9 coil.
As expected this Equinox coil is fully submersable/waterproof to a depth upto 3mtr/ 10ft.
And will also work on the Equinox 700 and 900 and also the Minelab X-Terra Pro
The coil configuation is a DD search coil, which is great as you get the huge ground cover and also the separation the the Double D is noted for.
Over the standard search area of the stock coil this coil seems huge, but it still has the super sensitivity that Coiltek are renound for, so missing small targets even at good depth is down to user error and not that the NOX 15 inch coil dosn't recieve a signal. It WILL Seek out super small target as the image above shows a cut 1/4 hammered coil, which are at best pretty hard to find
